This post is WAY overdue, but I really wanted to make sure to include Miss Justine on my blog.  🙂  She is one of my favorite seniors, and was the perfect model for a day of mentoring with the wonderful Alyssa Jackson of Alyssa Layne Photography!  We had such a fun day honing Alyssa’s skills and photographing this lovely girl!  Btw, if you are in the southwest suburbs of Chicago and need an excellent senior photographer, Alyssa might just be your girl!  🙂

Justine is not only beautiful, but a real smartie, too!  She is a Freshman at Ohio State University majoring in biology.  I know she will be so successful, and I look forward to hearing about all her endeavors!  Thank you for being the perfect model for us, Justine.  You were amazing!

Dear Friends,

After much thought and prayer, I feel God is leading me in a new and different direction in my life, and so I will be stepping away from photography after my 2015 Fall season is over. Therefore, I am not accepting any new seniors after October of 2015. I have LOVED working with all of my past seniors and their parents, and this is bittersweet because I love photography and love my seniors! However, for this season in my life, I feel a strong pull to serve in areas of women’s ministry, and to be able to spend more time there. I’ll continue to do online Photoshop mentoring, and offer my continued friendship to the many dear friends I have made in this industry. I love you all! <3 To my senior parents, thank you for allowing me to be a small part of one the most special years of your child’s life. It was an absolute honor.

With warmest wishes,  Susie

goodbye thank you

EeeeeK!  I can’t wait to share the images of gorgeous Alyssa with you!  Our session was so fun—Alyssa made it that way!  She really took her time in choosing her outfits, and it shows!  She and her mom had a special day at Anthropologie choosing the perfect pieces that would go with her skin tones and coloring, and it was apparent in the finished images.  They just pop!

Alyssa is special in so many ways. Being homeschooled, she was able to spend her extra time pursuing what she loves, and that is photography!  She is energetic, has a joy that is contagious, and has such a heart for people, which really comes through in her images.  I will enjoy watching her grow as a photographer, and seeing how she develops a style that is all her own!

Thanks for such a great session, Alyssa!  Love you bunches!

Danyelle | Plainfield High School | Class of 2015 | Indianapolis Senior Pictures

It’s the most wonderful time of year – senior portrait season! I totally love my job, and how could I not, with all of these fabulous Indianapolis high school seniors on my schedule?!? Not gonna lie, I am way behind in blogging these beauties, but I’m super excited to introduce you to Danyelle, a stunning Class of 2015 senior from Plainfield High School.

Danyelle is a pretty amazing high school senior. She’s beautiful.  She’s super smart, and she’s got a completely dazzling smile.

We had such a great time at her session – and her serious “model face” is killer!  One of her images was even chosen as one of Senior Style Guide’s, “Senior Stunner”!  And a stunner she is!

I adored working with Danyelle to capture her senior portraits — this girl has a fabulous style and a wardrobe to die for! And she can totally rock a back alley in downtown Indy!  I loved all of the fun urban locations we used for Danyelle’s senior pictures – definitely not the boring year book photos!

Thank so much Danyelle, for booking your senior portraits with me!  You are the best!

Katelyn | Lincoln-Way Central High School | Class of 2015 | Indianapolis Senior Photographer

I’m so glad to finally be posting the gorgeous Miss Katelyn on my blog.  Katelyn and her mom drove 3 hours to Indy from Chicago for her Couture Session.  I truly think I’m one of the most blessed photographers there is because I’m convinced that I always get the absolute nicest seniors and moms–and Katelyn and Stacy were no exception.  I just LOVE them!

We had so much fun hitting lots of different locations, and even a little farm in Noblesville that felt almost magical!  It was like a little fairy land!  Kate was such a natural, and super photogenic—it was nearly impossible to choose which images to edit!  🙂

Kate will be heading to Augustana College in the Fall, and I’ll be looking forward to seeing all of the successes of this sharp young lady!  Thanks for an awesome shoot, Kate!
