I’M STEPPING AWAY FROM PHOTOGRAPHY :(

Dear Friends,

After much thought and prayer, I feel God is leading me in a new and different direction in my life, and so I will be stepping away from photography after my 2015 Fall season is over. Therefore, I am not accepting any new seniors after October of 2015. I have LOVED working with all of my past seniors and their parents, and this is bittersweet because I love photography and love my seniors! However, for this season in my life, I feel a strong pull to serve in areas of women’s ministry, and to be able to spend more time there. I’ll continue to do online Photoshop mentoring, and offer my continued friendship to the many dear friends I have made in this industry. I love you all! <3 To my senior parents, thank you for allowing me to be a small part of one the most special years of your child’s life. It was an absolute honor.

With warmest wishes,  Susie

goodbye thank you

Gina Maxwell - Hello Susie!

I just read your post about “stepping away” from photography and taking a new path. I wanted to let you know how much I’ve enjoyed viewing your work online and how several of your photos are “pinned” under Fabulous Photos on my Pinterest account. I, myself, have decided to go down a new path but mine is taking me “in” the direction of photography. I have been a stay at home mom for many years and feel that it is now time for me to follow one of my dreams which is to be a professional photographer. You should know that many of your photos will be in my archives for when I need inspiration and ideas….Thank you! I have so often wondered what else I should be doing with my time and it’s funny how God steps in and shows you the way as long as you’re willing to listen. I wish you the best in your new endeavor!

Sincerely,
Gina Maxwell

Jill Hurst - Beyond happy for you and your new journey! You are such an inspiration…thank you for always willing to share your beautiful talent! All the best! Jill

Jordan Dennen - Susie!
You took my senior photos 4 years ago (I am now a senior in college…how time flies!!) And I was just looking through my photos again—because I periodically still do that when I want a confidence boost!—and got on your site to check in with what you’ve been up to. I was so sad to see you are no longer working in photography! I am so excited for the new season God is leading you into, but I know the seniors of the world will miss you! 🙂 I will never forget our session together, and those photos are forever a wonderful memory (and my all-time favorite pictures of myself! 😉 Thank you so much for being such a talented, caring, and inspiring influence in so many lives. You are truly a light!
Blessings on your new adventure!

Jordan Dennen
