Hey there! I'm Susie, the girl behind the camera.

I'm an on-location, natural light photographer for Frankfort, IL and the Chicagoland area! My passion for working with high school seniors as well as college students hopefully comes through in my photography, because I think there's no better group to work with! I love fresh faces as well as capturing each client's unique personality and preserving it as photographic art.

I'm a wife to an amazing husband and a mom to two college-age boys. Whether it's photography, interior design, fiber art quilting, or scrapbooking, I have always been a creative soul. I have my Bachelor degree in Nursing, but after my boys left for college, I decided to begin a second career staying where I was a good deal of time for the past 21 years anyway, and that's behind the camera!

I can't begin to tell you the feeling of satisfaction I get when my client sees her images and says, "Oh my gosh, I didn't know I could look that good," or he comments about how cool or great his pictures are. My hope and mission is that every client will see themselves as God sees them, at least in some small way. And that they would begin to sense that they are "fearfully and wonderfully made!"

I am really thankful for the opportunity God has put before me, and can't wait to see what He will do with it!

Kaysey | The Woodlands High School 2012 | IL Senior Photography

It was my privilege to take these pictures of Kaysey wearing one of her grandmother’s vintage prom dresses! It was such a perfect fit, it seemed like the dress was made for her! She looked like an absolute angel sent straight from heaven!!

We had so much fun shooting in so many great Texas locations, but it looks like Texas will be losing Casey to LSU this fall when she leaves for school. What an exciting time in her life!

Kaysey, you are absolutely delightful—thanks for making my visit so awesome!!
