Joe & Meg | Waiting for Baby Wells | Frankfort, IL Photographer

Just look at this adorable couple!  Meg and Joe are eagerly anticipating the birth of their first little one.  He is being named after his dad, and will be called Wells.  What an awesome name!  These guys have been super busy designing their nursery, and doing lots of re-purposing of furniture and different items to all come together for a beautiful room for their baby.  Meg even writes a blog about all of her creative pursuits called Meg Made design!  Check her out.:)

We were so blessed with 80 degree sunny weather on a March day.  In Chicago, this is nothing short of a miracle!  Joe and Meg, I can’t wait to meet your little guy, and I know you will be amazing parents!

Kaysey | The Woodlands High School 2012 | IL Senior Photography

It was my privilege to take these pictures of Kaysey wearing one of her grandmother’s vintage prom dresses!  It was such a perfect fit, it seemed like the dress was made for her!  She looked like an absolute angel sent straight from heaven!!

We had so much fun shooting in so many great Texas locations, but it looks like Texas will be losing Casey to LSU this fall when she leaves for school.  What an exciting time in her life!

Kaysey, you are absolutely delightful—thanks for making my visit so awesome!!

Jenna | Framed by Nature | IL Senior Photographer

You never know where you might stumble upon a great place for a photo!  I was driving along the other day when I happened to glance over and saw this stand of birch trees that I had never seen before.  And WOW!  What a great setting this was!  This is what makes senior photography so much fun!

Winter in Chicago is pretty barren, so finding all of this great texture and soft colors in the birches was a wonderful surprise!

The beauty of Jenna is icing on the cake!

Tonya Teran - February 9, 2012 - 2:44 pm

Gorgeous location and gorgeous images!

Emily Burke - February 9, 2012 - 3:07 pm

These are beautiful. What a location!! I love how the two images work together- the framing of the trees around her body in the first one sort of mimics the framing of the scarf around her face in the second one.

Fran Barker - February 9, 2012 - 5:36 pm

The location is so perfect as is the beautiful model, pose, and photography! Well done. :)

Ginger - February 14, 2012 - 3:41 pm

Simply stunning. What a gorgeous location.

Alyssa | The Woodlands High School | Class of 2012

I am so blessed to be a senior photographer because I get to meet girls like Alyssa.  While visiting a photog friend in Texas, we were able to set up a shoot with Alyssa and her friend, Kaysey (pictures to come).  She has such a great personality, and is beautiful (as you can see) to boot!  Thanks to Alyssa’s sister, Ava, and mom for being my on-the-spot assistants!  You were wonderful!

She will be heading to LSU next year, and I’m certain she’ll be a huge success!  Thanks for a wonderful photoshoot Alyssa—you’re the best!!

Amanda | Columbia College | Class of 2014

Meet Amanda!  She may be the next Broadway or pop star someday!  Her singing voice is beautiful, and it would sure be fun to see her perform one day.  :)  Amanda has such a striking look about her~~I mean, have you seen those piercing blue eyes?!  Wow!  I think she will definitely be noticed at her auditions!

Thanks for hanging in there for the whole freezing cold photoshoot, Amanda.  Purple hands and all!!  You were fantastic, and I loved getting to know you!
